About OpenWhen
OpenWhen is a free website for digital Open When letters. You write a letter for a moment that has not happened yet, seal it, and send one link. The person you wrote it for opens it when that moment arrives.
Who makes it
OpenWhen is made in Amsterdam by Albert Nahas, who founded it in February 2026. It started from one small, common problem: you have something real to say, and nowhere good to put it. A text gets buried by lunch. A card arrives three days early. The words that matter most, for a bad day, a long flight, the first morning in a new city, are the ones that need to arrive later, not now.
